SUMMARY

When an Audium application is tested using Internet Explorer, rather than the VoiceXML being displayed in the browser, an error message is displayed.

SYMPTOMS

An error message similar to the following is displayed in Internet Explorer:

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

Use of default namespace declaration attribute in DTD not supported. Error processing resource 'http://localhost:8080/Audium/Server?audium_application=someapp'. Line 3, Position 21

where localhost is the address of your application server, 8080 is the port, and "someapp" is the name of your Audium application.

RESOLUTION

This error is inconsistent, and is related to how Internet Explorer handles XML.  Using another web browser to test your Audium application should work.
