SUMMARY

When using the Cisco DTMF gateway, grammars that include recognition of an asterisk ('*') cause error.semantic to be logged.

SYMPTOMS

The Audium error logs show that the browser encountered an error.semantic error.

SOLUTION

This is only an issue when using the Cisco DTMF gateway.  Since the asterisk is a reserved character in Cisco DTMF gateway grammars, it must be escaped to be included.  Therefore, all occurrences of '*' should be replaced with '\*'.
