SUMMARY
This article lists license considerations for users moving from previous Studio versions to Studio 5.2.
SYMPTOMS
User already has an installation of Studio, but would like to upgrade to Studio 5.2 and needs to know what license considerations apply to their situation.
RESOLUTION
Current users of Audium Studio 5.1.3 You can install Audium Studio 5.2 on the same physical machine and use your existing installation key to activate. No additional seats will be consumed.
Current users of Audium Studio 5.0.0, 5.0.1, 5.0.2, 5.0.3, 5.1.0, 5.1.1, or 5.1.2 Before activating this new release, do the following:
1. Send an email to cisco-audium-license-support@cisco.com that includes the following information:
- Your current installation key(s).
- The version of Audium Studio you are currently using (prior to upgrading to Audium Studio 5.2).
- If available, POs or order numbers by which your current installation key(s) were acquired; this information will help expedite your request.
2. If you are elgible for an upgrade, you will receive a response from Cisco within 48 hours which will provide:
- Installation key(s) for use with Audium Studio 5.2.
Current users of Audium 3.2, Audium 3.3, Audium Studio 3.4.x
Before you can use this release you need an installation key (which is an upgrade under maintenance & support agreements).
1. Send an email to cisco-audium-license-support@cisco.com that includes the following information:
a. Your current license serials (or the license files themselves).
b. If available, POs or order numbers by which your current installation key(s) were acquired; this information will help expedite your request.
2. If you are elgible for an upgrade, you will receive a response from Cisco within 48 hours which will provide:
a. Installation key(s) for use with Audium Studio 5.2.
