SUMMARY

This article explains how to debug issues with setting up the AUDIUM_HOME variable.

SYMPTOMS

There are problems with AUDIUM_HOME setup.

RESOLUTION

Call Services requires the variable AUDIUM_HOME to be set up. This variable should point to the folder containing all Call Services files, such as applications, Gateway Adapters, logs, custom code and so on. If this is not setup correctly, Call Services will print out an error message about AUDIUM_HOME during the application server startup. The output will typically go to the console when starting the application server from a console, or to the application server's log file. On Apache Tomcat this log file is usually catalina.out in TOMCAT_HOME/logs and SystemOut.log for WebSphere.

Please refer to your application server documentation for further details about logging output from the application server.

Note that if you have multiple instances of Call Services on the same machine, make sure that AUDIUM_HOME points to the version you want to use.
