SUMMARY

Explains a situation where an Audium installation will not be able to detect where the app server was installed.

SYMPTOMS

The default installation path for Tomcat shown in the Audium installer is the default install path for the selected app server at the time Audium installer was created.

Note that tomcat has changed its default path within the 4.1 series from:

C:\Program Files\Apache Tomcat 4.1 to C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Tomcat 4.1.

The path is even different for tomcat 4.0

RESOLUTION

Simply specify C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Tomcat 4.1 to override the default path selected by the installer.

If a user is unsure where the app server is installed, they should use the browse button and manually select the app server's webapps directory.

If a user accidentally specified the wrong app server's directory, they can manually move the Audium.war and Audium directory to the correct app server's webapps directory and restart the app server.
