SUMMARY
This article explains why your system ID changed when you upgraded from an earlier version of Audium Studio 5.1.x to 5.1.3, and what impact this has on your license.
SYMPTOMS
User upgraded from Audium Studio 5.1.0, 5.1.1., or 5.1.2 to 5.1.3 and is now receiving an error dialog stating that the existing license was issued for another system. The system ID that is listed is different from this machine's original system ID.
RESOLUTION
Our Audium Studio 5.1.3 release includes upgraded licensing support, part of which resulted in a new system ID for your computer.
Reactivating with this new system ID will not use another license seat.
Feel free to reactivate Audium Studio to make use of your newly upgraded software, your license allowances will not be effected as long as the software is reactivated on the same physical machine.
Please note that this article applies specifically to Audium Studio 5.1.x, and not Audium Studio 5.0.x.
