RESOLUTION

With the advent of Audium Studio 5.x and Call Services 3.6.x, we have streamlined and automated our software licensing process so that it is easier for you to use.  With previous versions of Audium software, you were sent license files that had to be placed in specific directories on your file system.  When you use our improved licensing system you do not need to do this; software licenses are acquired and managed automatically.

After installation, the first time your software is started it will prompt you to activate it.

On machines with Internet access, activation can be performed online. In Studio, this can be performed from the licensing dialog that appears when you start Studio; in Call Services there is a URL (http://IP:PORT/Audium/Licensing) which leads to an activation console.  You will be prompted for your installation key, and your software will automatically download the most recent license associated with the installation key you provide.

Our new licensing system also provides a way to activate your products when an Internet connection is not available. Using a different computer (that does have Internet access), you can request a license key from Audium Customer Care (http://www.audiumcorp.com/CustomerCare). In order to request a license, your installation key and system ID are required. This information is available by navigating to 'Help->Activation...' within Studio, or from the activation console in Call Services.

Once the Audium Customer Care website validates the provided information, a license will be presented to you. This license can then be manually entered into your software to activate it.
