SUMMARY
This article explains why the 'Software Updates' feature cannot be used to upgrade to Audium Studio 5 from an earlier version, and how to properly upgrade.
SYMPTOMS
Developer has a previous version of Audium Studio (3.4.x), and would like to upgrade to Audium Studio 5.
RESOLUTION
The 'Software Updates' feature of Audium Studio allows developers to easily obtain the latest updates (e.g. service releases) of Audium Studio. However, since Audium Studio 5 is a major release, it is not obtainable through this process. To acquire Audium Studio 5, please contact your Audium Account Representative who will provide you with an installation key. Then, you can download Audium Studio 5 from the Audium Downloads section of Audium Support Center.
