SUMMARY
This article explains how logs can be rotated based on file size (i.e. when they reach a certain size, a new log is started).
SYMPTOMS
Administrator would like to rotate logs once they reach a certain size (e.g. 1MB), rather than daily.
RESOLUTION
While Audium Call Services does not offer the ability to rotate logs by size, you can write your own shell script to rename/move the log file when certain criteria are met. Note that this applies only to Linux/Unix, since Windows keeps the log files “open” while Audium Call Services is active. This prevents renaming or moving the logs.
