SUMMARY
This article describes why Audium applications would log errors about voice element classes not being valid, and how to fix the problem.
SYMPTOMS
Error messages similar to the following are present in Audium application logs:
SERVER ERROR: com.audium.server.voiceElement.audio.MAudio is not a valid voice element class.
where com.audium.server.voiceElement.audio.MAudio is the name of the class that Audium Call Services believes is not valid.
RESOLUTION
This error message is logged when Audium Call Services cannot find the classes used by the application. If the class listed is one of your custom classes, please ensure that it has been deployed into the proper location.
However, if the class listed is not a custom class, then it is a class used by the built-in elements. In this case, please ensure that the file elements.jar is located in the AUDIUM_HOME/common/lib directory. If this file has been moved or deleted, Audium Call Services will not be able to access classes required by the built-in elements.
