SUMMARY
By default, the administration scripts confirm with the administrator that the action should be taken. This article explains how to disable this confirmation.
SYMPTOMS
For example, Administrator would like to create her own script to control the administrative functions of Audium Call Services, and use this new script to call the existing administrative scripts. However, to do so, confirmation needs to be disabled.
RESOLUTION
Normally, when an administrative script is executed, it confirms with the administrator that the action should be taken. To disable this confirmation, run the script with the noconfirm option. For example:
updateApp.sh noconfirm
will cause the application to update without first confirming that this action should take place. Note that the script will still take some time to execute (conceivably several minutes due to graceful administrative functions, if there are active callers visiting the application) before returning to the command line.
This information, as well as much more about administrative functions are available in the User Guide, under the Administrator Functions section.
